“Comali” actress attacked by public while working out at a public park
Actress Samyuktha Hedge who made made heads turn with her stint in “Comali” was attacked by the public while working out at a park in Bangalore city. The actress who is ardent fitness enthusiast has been exploring different forms of arts to stay fit and one such is hula hooping and her social media wall is evident that she sways the hoop like a pro. According to the “Puppy” actress, she and her two friends had visited the Agara lake on Friday evening to practice Hula hoops.
As she was continuing to work out, a lady approached and began to hurl abuses at them for alleged ‘indecent behaviour’ and questioned if they where cabaret dancers. Out of nowhere, a mob led by Congress party leader Kavitha Reddy attacked a budding Kannada actress Samyuktha Hegde and her friends on Friday after accusing her of ‘indecent behaviour’ at Agara lake premises in Bangalore.
In an act of moral policing, the lady abused Samyuktha and for her sports attire and the lady, who is identified as Congress leader Kavitha Reddy not only hurled abuses at Hegde and her friends but also physically attacked her. However, one of the eyewitnesses stood in support of the actress and apprised the police personnel regarding the incident to state that the girls who had visited the lake were just doing their workouts and did not indulge in any indecent behaviour.The actress had documented the entire incident and shared the video and wrote, “The future of our country reflects on what we do today. We were abused and ridiculed by Kavitha Reddy at Agara Lake @BlrCityPolice @CPBlr There are witnesses and more video evidence I request you to look into this #thisisWRONGOur side of the story.”
