Suriya’s upcoming movie Soorarai Pottru’s trailer is expected to release on the actor’s birthday on July 23, 2020 as a the makers are contemplating to surprise the actor’s fan on his B’day.
Suriya’s upcoming film Soorarai Pottru was supposed to hit the screens in summer 2020, but due to the outbreak COVID-19 the release has been postponed indefinitely. The teaser of Soorarai Pottru was released a few months ago, amping up the expectations of the moviegoers.

As the actor is celebrating his 44th Birthday on July 23rd, fans of the actor can except a visual feast as it is tipped off that the makers of the film have decided to release the trailer of the film on the actor’s birthday. Although there is no official confirmation regarding this, fans are indeed expecting an update on the movie on their star’s birthday.

Soorarai Pottru, starring Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, and Paresh Rawal in the lead is based on the events and struggles of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath’s life. The movie will see Suriya essaying the role of Nedumaaran Rajangam. The film, directed by Sudha Kongara, is bankrolled by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment in association with Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment. The team has already completed the censor process and got a clean U certificate.
