Vidyut Jamwal entered showbiz in John Abraham starrer “Force” which was a Hindi remake of Surya’s “Kaakha Kaakha”. He shot to prominence with hid debut after which Jamwal bagged multiple negative roles in various films. After proving his mettle in Bollywood he made his debut in Ajith’s “Billa-2” and his stately and stylish performance had garnered him the offer to play the antagonist in Vijay’s “Thupakki”. In “Thuppakki”, Vidyut played a menacing leader of a sleeper cell group, and his role was lauded by critics and fans alike. The handsome hunk is a trailblazer who changed the perspective of a Villain in South Indian films.After playing a baddie in southern films such as “Billa 2”, “Shakti” and “Thuppakki”, Vidyut is finally changing gears with upcoming Tamil actioner “Anjaan”.

In a recent interview, Vidyut opened up about his experience on sharing screenspace with three of the reigning stars in the Tamil film industry. He said “Since I work in Bollywood as well as South Indian films, I feel I have been recognized in both the industries. I have my fan following. It’s a double whammy I’m enjoying. But having worked with southern superstars, I feel like a star too when I go there. It’s like I’ve found my own stardom. All three actors whom I have worked with are unique in their own way. Ajith is very polite and Vijay makes sure he makes his peers comfortable on set ans Surya prefers to quietly observe.”

Known for his fitness and discipline, Vidyut Jamwal has taken full advantage of the lockdown. The actor is a Kalaripayattu expert, and has been conducting online training sessions which includes energising and strengthening of bones and even balancing and alignment techniques. Vidyut is also busy with a slew of projects in Bollywood.  His upcoming project is “Yaara” with Irrfan Khan and Shruti Haasan has been released on Zee 5 streaming platform.
